Hohm Owner & CEO
I have worn many hats; each of them ground work for the brands, MadelineSays and Maddi's Hohm. Television producer, Event coordinator and Lifestyle manager top the list of jobs I have taken on. As a teenager, I began working in the television industry. I quickly worked my way up to associate producer on the legendary television show “It’s Show Time at the Apollo”, where I produced segments and booked professional talent. The constant interaction with the musicians booked for the Apollo led me to explore a career in music.
After working for the Apollo, I then joined New Jack Swing Productions/ Interscope Records, a leader in the music industry. There I worked my way up to Vice President of Music Operations. During my time at New Jack Swing/Interscope, I managed hit-makers BlackStreet to 6 million plus records and worked with other great talents such as Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dog and Pharrell Williams.
Def Comedy Jam, The Soap Opera Digest Awards, The Essence Awards and The B.E.T. Awards Shows are some of the shows for which I did talent coordination. In addition, I have done event coordination for Allen Iverson’s Charity Exhibition Basketball games in Virginia Beach, the 2nd and 3rd Annual Ray Lewis Foundation Benefit in Baltimore, Denzel Washington’s private wrap party for Julius Caesar and Denzel Washington’s Celebrity Gala to benefit the Boys and Girls Club in New York City. As a talent and event coordinator, I have had the opportunity to work with prominent figures such as Steve Stoute, Bob Johnson, Jay Z, Mary J. Blige, Lenny Kravitz, Faith Hill and Rihanna.
My diverse job opportunities have afforded me the good fortune to work with so many very talented and driven people. However I always knew I was not fulfilling my own personal destiny. Thankfully, I had a tremendous amount of fun while learning to finally embrace my purpose in life and begin a new career. My calling is to work in the health and wellness community. I have finally made it and I am here to stay!
Next in the progression of my career is MadelineSays and Maddi's Hohm; a Lifestyle Brand that promotes healthy living, Self Love and Acceptance, along with the idea that no matter what we did, last year, last month or yesterday, we always have a chance to Do It Right This Year. My education, extensive travels and work in the Entertainment field, have given me an edge and life experiences that have enabled me to create the lifestyle brand and philosophy of MadelineSays and Maddi's Hohm.
The vision of this site is to provide you with not only a daily look into the life of myself and my friends, but also an opportunity for us to share our days, our discoveries, our defeats, our triumphs and our knowledge with you.
You should think of the site as sort of an On-line magazine where you can find a little soup for the soul on one page, a recipe for Fettucini Alfredo on another and wardrobe advice on yet another.
